  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken thighs, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
  5. Remove the chicken and make a slurry with cornstarch and water, mixing it into the sauce, then return the chicken to the pot and cook until thickened.
