Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, basil pesto, cherry tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until everything is well coated.
  4. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the cheese for added flavor.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
