Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Shape one half of pizza dough into a 5-inch round ball for the spider's body, and the other half into a 2.5-inch ball for the head.
- Divide remaining dough into eight pieces and roll each into a 6-inch long shape for legs.
- Arrange the shaped dough on the baking sheet, press together, and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Tent legs with foil if they brown too quickly.
- Make additional breadsticks from second dough ball, bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Warm marinara sauce while baking, then hollow out the spider body to fill with sauce.
- Serve the filled Spider Bread Bowl with crispy breadsticks around it.
