  • 1 large Egg Beaten for egg wash
Spider Legs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Finely grated
Spider Eyes
  • 2 large Pitted Black Olives Sliced
Dip
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce Warmed

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Shape one half of pizza dough into a 5-inch round ball for the spider's body, and the other half into a 2.5-inch ball for the head.
  3. Divide remaining dough into eight pieces and roll each into a 6-inch long shape for legs.
  4. Arrange the shaped dough on the baking sheet, press together, and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Tent legs with foil if they brown too quickly.
  6. Make additional breadsticks from second dough ball, bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  7. Warm marinara sauce while baking, then hollow out the spider body to fill with sauce.
  8. Serve the filled Spider Bread Bowl with crispy breadsticks around it.
