Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by chopping fresh shrimp into small pieces and placing them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, an egg (or flaxseed mixture), chopped green onions, garlic powder, and spices to the bowl with shrimp.
  3. With clean hands, shape the shrimp mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. In a frying pan, pour in oil about 2 inches deep and heat to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully lower the shrimp balls into the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Use a slotted spoon to remove the shrimp balls from the oil and drain on paper towels.
