Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring ½ cup of water to a simmer over medium heat. Place a large heatproof bowl over the pot to create a double boiler.
  2. Add 6 cups of regular marshmallows and ¼ cup of unsalted butter to the bowl. Stir continuously for about 2-4 minutes until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Carefully remove the bowl from the heat and mix in ½ teaspoon of salt and red food coloring until fully combined.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, pour the 4 cups of Rice Bubbles. Drizzle the warm marshmallow mixture over the cereal and fold together gently.
  5. Lightly grease your hands and shape the mixture into oval brain forms with indentations.
  6. Place the shaped brains on a parchment-lined tray to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
