Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped walnuts if using.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly into four jars or containers with lids.
  4. Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soak and soften.
  5. In the morning, give the oats a good stir and enjoy cold or warm them in the microwave for 30-60 seconds if preferred.
