Dirty Strawberry Soda is a refreshing summer drink made with fresh strawberries and fizzy sodas, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Toss gently and let sit for about 10 minutes to allow the strawberries to release their juices.
  2. Using a fork or a muddler, mash the strawberries slightly to create a chunky puree.
  3. In a large glass or pitcher, combine the strawberry mixture, club soda, lemon-lime soda, and lime juice. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the strawberry soda mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, substitute the club soda with flavored sparkling water.
  • For a non-alcoholic cocktail, add a splash of grenadine for extra sweetness and color.
