Crab and Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are a delightful treat that combines creamy cheese and lump crab meat wrapped in flaky crescent dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, lump crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a generous tablespoon of the crab mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the crescent dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of hot sauce to the crab mixture.
  • You can also substitute the lump crab meat with shrimp or a combination of seafood for a different flavor.
