- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons loose Earl Grey tea or 4 tea bags
- 1 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat)
- 1/2 cup cherry juice (unsweetened)
- 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice (for serving)
- Fresh cherries and mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add the loose Earl Grey tea or tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes, then strain out the tea leaves or remove the tea bags.
- In a separate container, combine the cherry juice, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Add the brewed Earl Grey tea to the cherry mixture and stir well.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
- Once chilled, pour the mixture into a glass filled with ice and top with milk. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with fresh cherries and mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, use half-and-half or coconut cream instead of regular milk.
- Experiment with different fruit juices, such as raspberry or pomegranate, for a unique flavor twist.
